If you have been selected to be a Team Lead that speaks volumes about you. 

The Team Lead is one who is seen as trustworthy and competent to complete a project.  Apparently, that is YOU!  

Team Lead Responsibilities

Meat Cut Choices

Each team will receive a Meat Cuts form to complete together to identify the specific cuts of meat you would like.  Please remember we do not consume any organ meats (heart, liver, kidney); however, these are great foods for dog owners.  You can choose types of roasts, briskets, thickness of steak, number of steaks in a pack, fat, bone retention (bone broth), etc.                 See beef chart. 

Group Payments

The team lead will collect and submit one payment for the group for each due date. All funds must be paid on time  

  • Partial payments will not be accepted, without AB&L Squad approval, only a 2nd or 3rd payment is able to be extended. 
  • If a 3rd payment due is missed the group must have AB&L Squad approval within 14 days prior to due date.  The group is required to agree to restore funds within the date agreed upon. 
  • If your group is unable to commit to the payment, all funds paid will be returned to the group within 24 hours, and the group will be removed from the purchase list. 
  • Please be advised failing to meet your commitment to purchase the cow, due to non-payment will place the group in QRR status (qualifications review required), before participating in another ABL purchase in the future. 
  • If you are placed on QRR status and complete your next purchase successfully, your group will be removed from the QRR status list. 

The Team Lead is responsible for keeping the group updated on all adjustments and payment statuses.  The Team leader will manage all additions or subtractions to the team in order to keep the group in good standing for their current purchase.

Organize pickup and delivery   

Each Team Lead will be responsible for scheduling someone to attend the pickup trip for their group and organize the delivery of their group's meat purchase.

It cannot be a person volunteering as a team lead for another group 

Keep group updated on any status changes

The Team Lead will maintain effective communication and manage any necessary updates and/or adjustments required to the team itself, in order for the group to have a smooth AB&L purchase experience.
